This is a Metrotile Icotherm Tiled & Insulated Conservatory Roof that we recently completed for Les & Elaine in Failsworth, Manchester. They contacted us to give them a quote to remove their old poly-carbonate roof from their conservatory that they had installed around 10 years ago and install a new tiled and insulated roof for them. The old roof had started leaking in heavy rain and it was cold in the winter and Les, an avid music listener wanted a place he could sit and listen to his music, in the warmth. By coincidence we was already working on another tiled roof around the corner from Les & Elaine's house when they requested the quote. They came around to have a look at the job in progress and were impressed with our workmanship so the next day we got the go-ahead. This Icotherm Metrotiled roof has 155mm of insulation in it. I've since spoke to Les & Elaine after the installation and they said they only have to put a small blow heater in the conservatory on low and it warms the room through and the heat is retained, which is great.
